Western Rivers – notified resource consents

GWRC, Flood Protection Department is seeking resource consents to enable the continuance of the suite of flood protection works and maintenance activities that it undertakes in Te Awa Kairangi/Hutt, Wainuiomata, Waikanae and Otaki Rivers. This work is undertaken to fulfil GWRC’s statutory obligations in respect of flood protection and management of flood hazard.

The four relevant consent applications are as follows:

• WGN130303 Waikanae River
• WGN140054 Otaki River
• WGN150094 Wainuiomata River
