What does Resilient infrastructure mean to you?
We are working to make sure that if our region is affected by a major earthquake, flood, or slips that we are able to cope and continue to deliver the services our communities expect.
This means having robust infrastructure so we can continue to supply freshwater to your local council for the drinking supply, continuing to provide public transport or useful alternatives after an event and that the homes and communities across the region are protected from and aware of the impact of flooding.
It's important to us that the region feels confident that we can cope in an emergency - do you have thoughts on how we are doing on this? Please let us know below.
Kia ora, thanks for your interest. This project closed 30 April 2018.
