Make it our Plan

Consultation has concluded

Korero mai ano! Talk to us!

Fresh water, land, the beach, and the coast are important places to us all. Over the past 3 years we have been working with many of you drafting the rules about how to manage these parts of our environment. Are we protecting the right things, in the right places? Are we being too restrictive on industries and development? And if so in what way? And what have we missed?

Please read this draft Natural Resources Plan and the supporting material and korero mai ano! Talk to us! This is a chance for you to share your views on the draft plan.

Please give us your feedback before the end of November 2014.

We want to make sure that we have heard and discussed your perspective before we complete the proposed plan which is due for release mid 2015. The important thing is to get your ideas in now.

The easiest way to do it this is to open up the comments spreadsheet in the 'formal feedback' section below and save it to your computer and then send it to us once you have added comments.

You can give us your comments in different ways.

Your plans for electric transport are good but the airport is at sea level and will probably be underwater by mid to late century. I suggest improving the rail link to Auckland to keep transport open. These things take a lot of time to get underway and yet will be vital in the future.
