Consultation has concluded

Greater Wellington has started the process to review the Revenue and Financing Policy.

The Revenue and Financing policy describes how Greater Wellington intends to fund its expenditure. It outlines the sources of funding that Council intends to use and the relative level of funding from each source, for each activity. This policy is required by and adheres to the Local Government Act 2002, section 101 (3)(a).

During the 2021-31 Long Term Plan development process, Councillors requested that the Revenue and Financing Policy undergo a review. We are at the start of this process now and we would like to hear from you before we go making changes.

If you would like to make comment on the Rates Remission policy, we would like to hear that too.

Please let us know by 4pm, Friday 8 October 2021.

You can find more information about the policies and 2021-31 Long Term Plan: https://www.gw.govt.nz/long-term-plan/
