Consultation has concluded
Everyday, people in the Wellington region use and enjoy our harbours, coasts and rivers in a variety of different ways.
Greater Wellington Regional Council and local councils monitor and report on the quality of the water at popular beaches and river swimming spots so you know if there are any health risks present.
We would like to know what activities you do in the water, and where and when you do them so we can make sure we are monitoring in the right places at the right time. We’d also like to know more about what things put you off going in the water and what you think of our reporting.
The information you give us will help us to improve our recreational water monitoring programme and the way we make the results available to you.
We appreciate the time you take to tell us your thoughts. As a thank you, we're giving away the chance to win a 3SIXT HD Sports Action Camera or a iPod Shuffle 2GB and a Moshi Double Bassburger Pocket Speaker. Just enter your contact details on the form and you're in the draw.
