    Jesse is a lecturer in Management. Prior to his appointment at Victoria University of Wellington, Jesse held a Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Multimodal Research Centre at Auckland University of Technology.

    Jesse's research  and teaching focuses on communication and interaction in organisational settings. 

    Jesse develops practical applications of his work and was awarded the Beeby Fellowship in 2014 to develop a resource for schools to train peer tutors. He also works with community and iwi groups to dupport education and capability development initiatives.

  • Professor Stephen Cummings
    Co-Facilitator @ Victoria University Business School

    Stephen Cummings is Professor of Strategy and Innovation at Victoria University of Wellington and director of VUW's new innovation space, The Atom. He holds visiting or adjunct positions at Warwick Business School, ENPC Paris, Ecole Hassania Casablance, The University of Melbourne, Stockholm University and Trinity College Dublin, Stephen is the author of several books on creativity, communication and strategy, which have been translated into many other languages.

    Dr Riri Ellis
    Co-Facilitator @ Victoria Business School - Orauariki

    Dr Riri Ellis is the Director of Māori Business Programmes at Victoria Business School. Riri provides strategic oversight of Māori business opportunities for the school and engages with strategic partners in Māori business quarters.

    Riri is a trustee of Ngāi Tukairangi Trust in Mount Maunganui, on of the biggest Māori exporters of kiwifrui in Aotearoa and the largest shareholder of Te Awanui Hukapak Ltd.

    Riri is also the Mataatua delegate for the Federation of Māori Authorities. Governance positions include Miro Ltd, Tuhono Whenua Horticulture Ltd, the Bay of Plenty Connections Governance Board and the Bay of Plenty Māori Economic Development Advisory Committee. She has a PhD in Management Studies from the University of Waikato, and a Certificate in Corporate Governance from the Institute of Directors.
