The Regional Land Transport Plan (RLTP) is our blueprint for the Wellington Region's transport network. It aims to enable a connected region with safe, accessible and liveable places.

The plan sets out targets and identifies regional priorities. It also sets out the transport activities we intend to invest in.

The next RLTP will be published mid-2027.

  • RLTP 2027 Early-Engagement Survey

    In 2027 the Wellington Region will adopt a new Regional Land Transport Plan (RLTP).

    Currently under development, the new RLTP will set the long-term strategic direction and investment priorities for the regional transport network.

    We’d like your feedback on key strategic components we’ve drafted for inclusion in the RLTP.

    This survey will take about 10 minutes.
